Hello :) Sorry for not having replied before, but I'm going crazy with some exams and homework.
Yes, I really regret he had all those troubles. It's terrible to think about how much he suffered and it's really sad to think of how all those things damaged his career. He was an amazing actor. I agree with you, he could have been in one of the best positions of a list or ranking of the best actors from all times. I love to see that many people feel this, thinking about the creation of sites and forums and looking that there are many members here, and we all are people who love Jack and his work, but I hate to find he's so unknown in my country. It's a shame, but here it's really hard to find things related to him. I 've been able to enjoy more of his work and get beatiful pics through internet.
I love that scene too, that moment it's really funny. The Dodger is great :)
I was surprised too when I read he was fifteen then. He looked younger. Actually, my father, who liked Jack very much, said he was really funny being so little and acting as he was older, a child acting as young man. He thought he was younger, about the age you have said more or less, and sometimes he had some mature expressions on his face. He couldn't imagine he was only one year younger than him, since my father was born in 1951 and Jack in 1952. Unbelievable! hahaha ;)
i'll go back with my books now, but I'll take a look over here.
